As a careers advice company, we are often asked many questions about C.V.’s. Here is our advice on the question “How long should my C.V. be?”
If you can’t say everything you need to in one page, two pages are ideal. Get your message across succinctly. If your work is technical, you may need to include an appendix. If you are a Senior Director and your last three roles had many relevant responsibilities, you may need to go to three pages. But do consider the reader.
If your CV is longer than two pages, it’s probably because you’ve been adding more information at the top without removing out of date details from the end.
